I WILL BE EVERYTHING - NIE Theatre 2019

An international project working locally in schools and communities across Europe to tell the story of the future in 50 years time, through the eyes of children. Young people have become the storytellers and futurologists of their local community.

Fantastic and fabulous stories created by the children through 6 months of workshops will be brought to life by professional artists from the UK, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Norway, Spain and Poland, in a new performance and public exhibition that depicts the local area with distinctiveness, humour and imagination.

This Spring, New International Encounter take their re-telling of the classic fairy tale Snow White on a multi-state 9 week tour of the US debuting on Broadway’s New Victory Theatre NYC in April 2020.

Three actors play one lonely man with humour, physical theatre, puppetry and a distinct visual style, set beneath three hanging stage lights, which create an intimate, visual experience driven by simple storytelling and stunning imagery.

“To deliver an affecting piece of theatre is an impressive achievement. To do it without words and with props not much more sophisticated than a sheet of plastic and the contents of a suitcase is just stunning. ****” – Edinburgh Guide
